Ensure that in your LAN card TCP I/P properties, check the radio button Obtain IP Address Automatically, else the computer may fail to open the router configuration page. Also ensure that in the browser settings, Proxy Server is not enabled. To check this open your Internet Explorer, click TOOLS and INTERNET OPTIONS and then CONNECTIONS tab and click LAN SETTINGS button and ensure that Proxy Server is not checked. 

If you want to configure the router on USB, then you need to first load the USB drivers which are available on the CD supplied to you and then enter 192.168.1.2 in the address bar of the broswer and not 192.168.1.1. The figure shown below assumes that the LAN card is connected to router.

Now enter the user name as admin and password as admin.

You will see the following page appears:- Click on RUN WIZARD

Select PPPoE/PPPOA as shown in the figure below:-

Enter the username and password as indicated below and select other fields as indicated..

Click on TOOLS on the top.

(It is suggested to change the password of the router. Required screen shots are missing here. You can click on System and then change the router's password. The default password for entry into the router is admin. It is better to change the password when you try to connect in the router mode for security reasons.)

Click on Save and Reboot button to proceed further

You need to wait almost 2 minutes at this point... and then you will see the following page appear:-

Click on Status again and check for the IP number as indicated below:-

The router configuration is over.... Close the browser. Just re-open your favourite browser to view the web pages coming up. You no longer need to dial from the system.
